Ar-Rahmaan - الرَّحْمَنُ

Merciful towards his creatures. A mother's mercy towards her child is a tiny part compared to His immense mercy towards His creatures. His chastisement is the hardest and severest of all chastisements but His mercy preceded His wrath; and this name is one of the names attributed to none other than Allah.
